I have a Masters of Science in Clinical Counseling and am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Clinician.

As a therapist I enjoy working with a variety of groups but particularly enjoy working with adults navigating the many ups and downs of life. I primarily work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life adjustments, interpersonal conflict, relationship issues, and women’s issues. Women's issues often includes self-esteem, body issues, relationships and communication, parenting/motherhood, work/life balance, postpartum, & menopause. I use a person-centered and solution focused approach to help individuals discover their strengths and overcome daily challenges.

Primary modalities used during session include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and The Gottman Method. I also utilize Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process traumatic memories and other distressing experiences.

Authenticity and acceptance are essential components of a successful therapeutic relationship as well as my personal counseling style. Throughout the therapeutic process, my goal is for clients to gain insight about their experiences, emotions, and thoughts to facilitate new responses to old patterns of behavior.  Together, we can approach a treatment plan to meet your needs.
